Sidi Mahrez Mosque, also known as Mohamed Bey El Mouradi Mosque, is a vast religious complex in the heart of Tunis's Medina. Built between 1692 and 1702 under the Husainid dynasty, it covers over 7,000 square meters, making it the largest mosque in the city by land area. Its distinctive Ottoman-inspired architecture features nine white domes arranged in a T-shape, a spacious marble courtyard with arcades, and a single minaret. Visitors can admire the intricate tilework, carved stucco, and peaceful atmosphere. Non-Muslims are welcome to enter the courtyard but not the prayer hall.
