Been coming here for about 25 years. Same good old quality duck with amazing flavor. Crispy pork was another one of my fave dishes here. Love this place to no end
BBQ Pork [1/5] 🍖 We arrived at 1 pm, but unfortunately, the roasted duck had already sold out. The owner informed us that they still had BBQ Pork available, so we ordered a plate without rice. However, the BBQ Pork was extremely disappointing. 🐟 It was tough and had a very unpleasant flavor. Both the pork and its sauce tasted fishy, with no hint of BBQ flavor. Service [5/5] 🤝 The staff was exceptionally humble, friendly, and fluent in Chinese. They even provided two soups for us, despite us ordering only one plate of BBQ Pork. The staff also suggested that we visit The Old Siam Plaza for a walk. Ambience [2.5/5] ☀️ The shop is an old traditional establishment located beside a main road. It can be very hot, noisy, and dusty during the afternoon. Value [2.5/5] 💲 Priced at 60 Baht for a plate of BBQ Pork, it was slightly expensive but acceptable. If I were in the area again, I would like to try their famous roasted duck instead.
This restaurant has neen around for over 90 years and is still run by the same family. It was the first time I had duck ever ! And I must say that is must be one of the best dishes I have ever had EVER. We had the duck breast with some greens and also with some roast pork - again WOW- this little gem of a restaurant should really be visited if your in Bangkok. Make a plan and get to this restaurant before it's gone forever as the owners have said that none of their family want to continue it and once they retire that's the end. Enjoy
This restaurant is located at Nang Lerng Market. Although there is less parking area, with the delicious food :- roasted duck, grilled pork, aromatic and mellow soup at reasonable price and enough seats for customers, it is very popular for decades. Are you hungry?
