Rainbow Village is a living art installation created by a single elderly veteran, known as Rainbow Grandpa, who painted the entire settlement to save it from demolition. Visitors wander through narrow alleyways adorned with bright, cartoonish figures, slogans, and patterns that cover walls, doors, and even the ground. The village offers a unique blend of grassroots creativity, Taiwanese folk culture, and a touching story of preservation. It's a compact but endlessly photogenic spot, perfect for capturing the spirit of community and resilience.
