Lac de Cleuson is a turquoise reservoir set in a high alpine valley above Verbier. Surrounded by grassy slopes and rocky peaks, it offers a peaceful escape from the ski resort. The lake is fed by glacial meltwater and backed by the Grand Muveran and other summits. A well-marked trail circles the lake, taking about an hour. Visitors can picnic on the shores, fish for trout, or simply soak in the serene landscape. In summer, wildflowers dot the meadows, and the clear water reflects the sky. It is a favorite spot for families and hikers seeking a gentle day out.
