Dent de Nendaz is a prominent 2,463-meter peak in the Valais Alps, located above the resort of Nendaz and easily accessible from Verbier. It is a popular hiking destination, with well-marked trails leading to the summit from the Tracouet cable car station. The hike is moderately challenging, rewarding visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of the Rhône valley, the Mont Blanc massif, and the surrounding peaks of the 4 Vallées. The summit features a cross and a small refuge. What makes Dent de Nendaz distinctive is its accessibility, the cable car from Haute-Nendaz brings you to within a 1.5-hour hike of the top, making it achievable for many fitness levels.
