Haute-Nendaz is a lively ski resort in the Valais region, just above Sion, and a gateway to the 4 Vallées ski area, one of the largest in Switzerland with over 400 km of pistes. The resort itself offers a charming village with traditional chalets, shops, and restaurants, plus a modern lift system. In winter, skiers and snowboarders have direct access to the 4 Vallées, including the legendary Mont Fort glacier. The resort is particularly popular with intermediate skiers, but also offers beginner areas and expert off-piste. Summer transforms Haute-Nendaz into a hiking and biking hub, with trails through forests and alpine pastures, plus the famous Bisse de Vex. The village has a lively apres-ski scene, with bars and nightlife. Families appreciate the kids' clubs and snow parks. The panoramic views from the Tracouet cable car are a highlight.
