Piz Nair is a 3,056-meter peak that offers one of the best vantage points over the Engadin region. The cable car from St. Moritz-Dorf takes you to the summit in about 10 minutes, passing over forests and alpine meadows. At the top, a viewing platform provides a 360-degree panorama of the Bernina Range, the Corviglia ski area, and the lakes of St. Moritz. In winter, it's a popular starting point for ski runs; in summer, hiking trails lead from the summit station. The mountain is also known for its role in the 1948 Winter Olympics, hosting the alpine skiing events. The air is crisp, and the scenery is breathtaking.
Don't miss
