Val Roseg is a pristine glacial valley located just south of Pontresina, offering a serene escape into nature. The valley is car-free, accessed by foot, bike, or horse-drawn carriage along a gravel road. In summer, it's a paradise for hikers, with trails leading through larch forests and alpine meadows to the Roseg Glacier and the Chamanna da Tschierva mountain hut. The valley is also a starting point for climbs of Piz Bernina and other peaks. In winter, the area becomes a cross-country skiing and winter hiking destination, with groomed trails and a peaceful, snowy landscape. The Roseg Hotel, a historic mountain inn, provides rustic accommodation and dining. The valley's untouched beauty and quiet atmosphere make it a favorite for those seeking solitude and stunning scenery.
