The St. Moritz-Celerina Olympic Bobrun is the world's oldest natural ice bobsleigh track, having hosted the 1928 and 1948 Winter Olympics. Located between St. Moritz and Celerina, this 1.7-kilometer track plunges down the valley with 16 curves, reaching speeds of up to 135 km/h. Visitors can watch races from designated viewing areas or, for the adventurous, book a ride with a professional pilot. The track is open to the public during the winter season, typically from December to February. The experience is both exhilarating and educational, with the historic start house and finish area offering insights into the sport's evolution. Even if you don't ride, the atmosphere during a training session or competition is electric.
