Mont Racine is a 1,439-meter peak in the Neuchâtel Jura, known for its peaceful atmosphere and unspoiled nature. The summit offers a 360-degree panorama that includes the Alps, Lake Neuchâtel, and the rolling Jura hills. The area is a haven for hikers and nature enthusiasts, with trails winding through dense forests, open pastures, and limestone outcrops. In spring and summer, the meadows burst with wildflowers, and the air is filled with birdsong. The mountain is less frequented than some other Jura peaks, making it ideal for those seeking solitude. A small mountain hut provides refreshments in season. The region is also part of a nature reserve, home to deer, lynx, and rare plant species.
