The castle is a private residence, but its exterior and setting are accessible to visitors. The climb up the hill is rewarded with a peaceful atmosphere and a sense of stepping back in time. The castle's square keep and thick stone walls are typical of 13th-century fortifications. The surrounding vineyards and forests make it a great spot for hiking and photography.
