Lac de Lessoc is a small, tranquil lake nestled in the Intyamon valley near the village of Lessoc, part of the Gruyères district. Fed by the Saane River, the lake is a popular spot for fishing, with stocks of trout and other species. The surrounding area features flat walking paths that meander through meadows and forests, offering stunning views of the nearby peaks. Benches and picnic tables are scattered along the shore, making it a perfect place for a quiet afternoon. In summer, the lake's calm waters attract swimmers, though there are no lifeguards. Birdwatchers can spot waterfowl and other wildlife. The lake is less touristy than larger alpine lakes, providing a peaceful retreat. Nearby, the village of Lessoc offers a glimpse of traditional Swiss rural life with its wooden chalets and small church.
