Oberalp Pass is a mountain pass at 2,044 meters elevation, linking the canton of Uri (Andermatt) with Graubünden (Sedrun). The pass road is a popular route for scenic drives, with hairpin bends and sweeping views of the Alps. In summer, the pass is a hub for hikers, with trails leading to the Sources of the Rhine, Oberalpsee, and nearby peaks. The area is also a starting point for the famous Via Alpina trail. In winter, the pass transforms into a ski and snowboard destination, with the Oberalp ski area offering slopes for all levels. The pass itself features a small village with hotels, restaurants, and a railway station served by the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway. The combination of accessibility and natural beauty makes Oberalp Pass a gateway to Alpine adventures, whether you're driving, hiking, or skiing.
