Menik Wehera is a modest stupa situated near the entrance of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Despite its size, it holds historical importance as one of the first structures visitors encounter. The stupa's simple design and serene setting provide a peaceful introduction to the area's religious heritage. Surrounding the stupa are remnants of a vatadage (circular relic house) and other minor structures, offering insight into early Buddhist architecture.
