Gal Vihara is a rock temple within the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, featuring four magnificent Buddha statues carved into a single granite cliff. The statues include a seated figure, a standing figure, and a reclining Buddha, each exquisitely detailed and showcasing the mastery of Sinhalese sculptors. Visitors can walk along the cliff face to view the serene expressions and intricate drapery up close.
