Dakkhina Stupa is an ancient Buddhist stupa constructed by King Dutugemunu, located within the sacred Mahamevnāwa Park. Though smaller than some other stupas in Anuradhapura, it holds significant historical and religious importance. Visitors can circumambulate the whitewashed dome and observe the surrounding ruins of monastic buildings. The site offers a quieter, more contemplative experience compared to the larger monuments.
