Puerta del Carmen is a monumental gate that once formed part of Zaragoza's city walls. Built in the late 18th century, it is one of the few surviving gates and a symbol of the city's history. The gate features a neoclassical design with a central arch flanked by two smaller ones. It stands in a busy roundabout, but visitors can approach it on foot. The gate is particularly significant for its role during the Sieges of Zaragoza in the Peninsular War. Today, it serves as a landmark and a reminder of the city's past.
