Pazo de Raxoi is an elegant neoclassical palace located on the Obradoiro Square, opposite the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Built in the 18th century, it originally served as a seminary and later as a royal residence. Today, it houses the Santiago de Compostela City Council and the regional government of Galicia. The building's symmetrical facade, with its grand columns and central pediment, is a prime example of neoclassical architecture in Spain. Visitors can admire the exterior and the square, but the interior is generally not open to the public except during special events. Its prominent location makes it a key landmark in the city's historic center.
