Monte do Gozo, meaning 'Mount of Joy', is a significant spot on the Camino de Santiago where pilgrims catch their first glimpse of the cathedral's spires after weeks of walking. The hill features a large monument commemorating this moment, as well as a viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of Santiago de Compostela and the surrounding countryside.
