Ponte Vella, or Old Bridge, spans the Miño River in Ourense. Its Roman origins date to the 1st century AD, but the current structure was rebuilt in the 13th century. The bridge has seven arches and a distinctive humpback shape. Pedestrians can walk across, enjoying views of the river and city. A small chapel, the Capilla de los Remedios, sits at one end. It remains a key symbol of Ourense.
