Plaza de la Constitución has been Málaga's central hub since the 15th century, when it served as the city's main market square. Today, it's a pedestrian-friendly space lined with orange trees, outdoor terraces, and elegant architecture. The square is dominated by the 19th-century Fuente de Génova fountain and the old Town Hall building, now a cultural center. Visitors can enjoy a coffee while watching street performers, or explore the narrow streets radiating outwards. At Christmas, the square hosts a festive market and a giant tree. Its central location makes it a natural starting point for exploring the historic center.
