Málaga Cathedral, often called 'La Manquita' (the one-armed lady) due to its incomplete south tower, is a stunning blend of Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Located in the historic center, it was constructed between 1528 and 1782 on the site of a former Almohad mosque. The interior features a soaring nave, intricate choir stalls carved by Pedro de Mena, and two impressive organs. Visitors can explore the main altar, the treasury, and the rooftop for panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean. The cathedral's facade, with its warm sandstone hues, dominates the Plaza del Obispo. Its unfinished state adds a unique charm, making it a must-see landmark in Málaga.
