The Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall is a striking contemporary building that stands as a symbol of Bilbao's cultural renaissance. Designed by architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios, its curved steel and glass structure evokes a ship's hull, paying homage to the city's shipbuilding heritage. The venue hosts a wide array of events, from classical concerts and opera performances to international conferences and trade fairs. The main auditorium, with its excellent acoustics, is home to the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra and regularly features world-renowned artists. Even if you're not attending an event, the building's architecture is worth admiring from the outside, especially when illuminated at night. Its location along the Nervión River places it within walking distance of the Guggenheim Museum and the city's fine dining scene.
