Seoulland

Seoulland, located in Gwacheon just south of Seoul, is a sprawling amusement park that combines thrilling rides with a zoo and botanical garden. Visitors can enjoy roller coasters, a Viking ship, and a ferris wheel, as well as gentler attractions for children. The park also features a small zoo with animals like bears and monkeys, and a rose garden that blooms in spring. Seasonal events, such as cherry blossom festivals and Halloween celebrations, add variety throughout the year. The park's setting against the backdrop of Cheonggyesan Mountain provides a scenic escape from the city's hustle. While not as large as Everland or Lotte World, Seoulland offers a more relaxed atmosphere with shorter queues, making it ideal for families with young children.

A bit of history

Seoulland opened in 1988 as part of the Seoul Grand Park complex, which also includes a zoo and a museum. It was built to provide recreational space for the growing capital region and has since become a beloved local destination.
