A bit of history
The village was created in 1998 to preserve and showcase five hanok houses that were relocated from various parts of Seoul. These houses date back to the late Joseon Dynasty (1392–1910) and were originally homes of officials and commoners. The site also incorporates the historic Jeonghak-dong area, known for its geomantic significance.
