Lake Jasna is a man-made lake located just a short walk from the center of Kranjska Gora, known for its strikingly clear, emerald-green water. Surrounded by manicured lawns and benches, it is a popular spot for swimming in summer, with a designated swimming area and a small beach. The lake is fed by the nearby Nadiža River, keeping the water refreshingly cool. Visitors can also enjoy picnics on the grassy banks, take a leisurely stroll around the lake, or photograph the iconic bronze statue of a chamois on a rock. In winter, the frozen lake sometimes becomes a skating rink. The backdrop of the Julian Alps adds to its picturesque charm.
