Lake Predil (Italian: Lago del Predil) is a stunning glacial lake situated at an altitude of 962 meters in the Julian Alps, straddling the border between Slovenia and Italy. The lake's crystal-clear waters reflect the surrounding peaks and dense forests, creating a tranquil setting. Visitors can stroll along the shore, enjoy a picnic, or fish for trout in the lake. The area is a starting point for several hiking trails, including routes to nearby peaks and the historic Fort Predil.
