Markušovce is a village known for its Renaissance manor house, built in the 16th century and later expanded. The manor houses a museum of historical interiors and a gallery. Surrounding it is an arboretum established in the 19th century, with over 200 species of trees and shrubs, including rare exotics. Visitors can stroll through the English-style park, admire the manor's arcaded courtyard, and enjoy the peaceful setting. The arboretum is especially colorful in autumn.
