Okay Georgian restaurant conveniently situated for tourists and with a reasonable price range. I had decent expectations for this place due to the amount of reviews but I was more disappointed than satisfied. First, the service is very slow. It took them 30 minutes to bring the first "food" and that was some sauces, without even the bread we ordered. The next "dish" was served after 40 minutes since the order and that was a vegetable mix that doesn't even require mixing or anything. Literally a plate with washed vegetables took 40 minutes! Other dishes came within 50 minutes and weren't even worth the wait. The coffee took 10-15 minutes to be prepared and the water also took 10 minutes when it seemed like there weren't many guests in the restaurant... There were also many guests who came after us but got served much faster although they ordered the same menu. If the dishes came in 20-30 minutes it would have been great. Otherwise, I'd recommend getting khinkali (though a bit salty), chashushuli (tender and sweet) and the beetroot pkhali (unique taste with the pomegranate bits). The dolma was pretty salty. The staff wasn't necessarily friendly but wasn't rude either.
Great location, prices are very acceptable and the food is delicious. The place is always crowded due to warm Georgian welcome ;) the music can be loud, but service is very friendly. We tried many dishes from the menu and georgian wine - everything was super good. Don’t hesitate to ask the waiter about dishes - they help a lot.
Great location and wonderful food. Probably the best meal I had while in Saint Petersburg. Every time I visit the city I have to eat at Chacha. Super friendly staff, always feels like I came to visit an old friend. Reasonably priced and they serve simply the best Hachapuri in the area.
Hot and lovely Beef Kharcho soup and a glass of local Georgian red wine, after a cold run-around to see this nice city. A huge Napoleon cake for dessert (first time I've have'nt finished my dessert) Can highly recommend ChaCha. In addition, a very nice and skilled waitress has to be mentioned.
