Very delicate and professional handling of food. They really use high quality ingredients which they don't turn into something unrecognisable, but simply cook very very well
Only one vegetarian dish on the menu. Be aware.
First time to Chez Francois, and we loved it. My husband had made a reservation because it was our Anniversary and we were greeted at our table with nice card from the restaurant signed by many staff. It was a nice touch but I cannot give enough complements to the restaurant as a whole. The ambiance, the staff and of course the food were incredible.
Attentive server, but as the evening went on she got behind. Ordered cup of the lobster bisque soup as an appetizer and as always a special treat. Would recommend the servers indicate the price of their daily specials. Ordered the hogfish special and although it was excellent I was shocked when the bill came. I've had this fish in FL but truly was not expecting $65 for this particular fish entree. Pork shank over sweet potatoes was excellent in flavor and presentation. So tender it fell off the bone. We were celebrating my birthday and although we were full we were presented chocolate cupcakes with a candle... nice gesture but it hardly matched their excellent food, cupcake was average to almost dry. Get reservations early so you get a beautiful view outside on the river.
