This is the best new restaurant in our neighborhood! Our first visit was mid afternoon on a weekday so not too busy and we were served quickly. The food was delicious and fresh. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone in my opinion. We had a wonderful beetroot soup Indian balls seasoned nicely and salad. The price seems reasonable in my opinion. This isn’t fine dining but great family friendly neighborhood hangout. It’s perfect for friends and business casual meals. They even have a happy hour offering after 6pm. The first place I’ve been in Europe I think that served filtered water at no cost which I approve of and thought was a great touch. The staff are friendly but I always like smiles which there weren’t many but no complaints. The service was great fast and efficient. I highly recommend and will be back regularly.
We were super pumped to finally try this place out after all the hype. Since we didn't have a reservation and it was a weekend, we were worried we'd be stuck waiting forever. But the server was awesome and snagged us a table in no time – even though the place was packed! That made a great first impression; you could tell they were really on top of things. Plus, they were super friendly and welcoming. The vibe was really cool, kind of like an old-school canteen, but in a good way. The place was buzzing with all sorts of people – families, students, you name it. It was clear everyone was there for the food and maybe a little bit of nostalgia. The menu came quickly and we were pleasantly surprised by how many options there were. You know, when a place has a theme like this, you expect them to just do one thing. Most of the drinks were bottled, but there was still a good selection. Service was quick and everything looked amazing – super authentic and delicious. The fried olives and cauliflower nuggets were seriously the best! And the Italian meatballs were spot on, with perfect marinara sauce and mashed potatoes. The only thing was, the mayo sauces felt a bit… store-bought, you know? And the red beetroot and horseradish was a bit too vinegary for our taste. We couldn't finish everything, so we grabbed some leftovers to go, which was super easy. Overall, we were really impressed. The food was great and the whole experience was awesome. We'll definitely be back!
Food was really good, a fun little cafe/ restaurant. Definitely worth going out of town for. Recommend the chicken meatballs with mash. Atmosphere is also really nice and fun.
I love this spot, as it has recently moved in my neighborhood and the staff was very customer-focused. Loved my veggie options - I highly recommend the Asian bowl 🤤
