Strada Sforii, or Rope Street, is one of the narrowest streets in Europe, measuring just 1.35 meters at its widest and 1.11 meters at its narrowest. Originally built as a passage for firefighters, this cobblestone alley winds between tall buildings in Brașov's old town. Walking through it feels like stepping back in time, with old stone walls on either side and glimpses of the surrounding architecture. It's a popular photo spot and a unique piece of urban history.

Don't miss

  • Walk the entire length of the street, measuring about 80 meters.
  • Take photos of the narrow passage and the surrounding medieval buildings.
  • Look for the small plaque marking the street's name and history.
