Șchei Gate, erected in 1827, is a handsome neoclassical arch that replaced an earlier medieval gate. It stands at the boundary between the old town and the Șcheii Brașovului district, once home to the city's Romanian and Bulgarian communities. The gate's clean lines and stone pillars give it a stately appearance. Visitors can pass through on foot and explore the narrow streets beyond. It's a quiet, less crowded alternative to the main square, offering a glimpse into Brasov's multicultural past.
