Saint George's Church is a fortified Lutheran church in Brașov, originally built in the 14th century by the Saxon community. Its thick walls and defensive towers reflect the turbulent history of Transylvania. Inside, visitors can see Gothic frescoes, a baroque altar, and a collection of Ottoman carpets. The churchyard offers views of the surrounding hills. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site 'Villages with Fortified Churches in Transylvania'.
