The Monastery of Jesus of Setúbal is a landmark of Portuguese late Gothic and Manueline architecture, founded in 1490 by Princess Joana. Its church features a richly decorated portal and a single nave supported by twisted columns, while the main chapel contains the tomb of the princess. Adjacent to the church, the museum displays a collection of sacred art, including sculptures, paintings, and liturgical objects from the 15th to 18th centuries. The cloister, with its delicate arches, offers a peaceful retreat from the city bustle.
