The Xerez Cromlech is a prehistoric megalithic monument consisting of a circle of standing stones, believed to have been used for ceremonial or astronomical purposes. Located on a gentle slope near Monsaraz, it offers a glimpse into the Neolithic era. Visitors can walk among the stones, some of which are engraved with cup marks, and contemplate the ancient landscape. The site is part of a larger megalithic complex in the Alentejo region.
