Nosal is a 1,206-meter mountain just north of Zakopane, easily accessible and popular for both summer hiking and winter skiing. Its gentle slopes feature well-marked trails through pine forests, leading to a summit with views of the Tatra range and Zakopane below. In winter, Nosal Ski Resort offers several slopes for beginners and intermediates, with a chairlift operating year-round. The mountain is a family-friendly destination, with picnic spots and a mountain hut serving food. It's a great option for a half-day outing without venturing deep into the Tatras.
Don't miss
- Hike the green trail from Zakopane to the summit for panoramic city and mountain views.
- Ski or snowboard on the lit slopes at Nosal Ski Resort in winter.
- Relax at the mountain hut with traditional Polish cuisine and hot drinks.
