Kasprowy Wierch is one of the most accessible high peaks in the Polish Tatras, thanks to a cable car that runs from Kuźnice to the summit station at 1,959 m. The ride offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. At the top, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the High Tatras, including Giewont and Świnica. In winter, the area becomes a ski resort with several slopes, while summer offers hiking trails along the Orla Perć or to nearby peaks like Świnica. The summit also houses a meteorological observatory. The cable car can have long queues, especially during peak season.

Don't miss

  • Ride the cable car for sweeping views of the Tatra peaks and valleys
  • Hike the Orla Perć trail from the summit for a thrilling ridge walk
  • Ski on the slopes in winter, with runs for intermediate and advanced skiers
