Wrocław Zoo, established in 1865, is home to over 10,000 animals representing about 1,100 species. Its standout attraction is the Africarium, a modern oceanarium that recreates African aquatic environments, including a large tank with sharks, rays, and hippos. Visitors can also see a variety of animals from around the world, such as elephants, giraffes, and polar bears. The zoo is set in spacious, landscaped grounds and offers educational programs and conservation initiatives.
Don't miss
- Watch hippos swim underwater in the Africarium's massive tank
- Visit the Madagascar pavilion to see lemurs and other island species
- Feed the giraffes at the elevated platform (seasonal)
