The Leaning Tower of Toruń is a 15th-century defensive tower that tilts about 1.5 meters from vertical due to sandy soil. Part of the city's medieval fortifications, it now stands as a popular landmark. Visitors can view the tower from outside, admire its brick Gothic architecture, and learn about local legends, one says the tilt was caused by a knight's misdeeds. It's a quick stop during a walk along the city walls.
