Crane Tower is one of the best-preserved remnants of Toruń's medieval fortifications, built in the 14th century as part of the city's defensive walls. Its name comes from a hoist used to lift goods, reflecting its dual role in defense and trade. Visitors can climb the narrow stairs to the top for sweeping views of the Old Town and the Vistula River. The tower also houses a small exhibition on Toruń's fortifications.
