Had a great dinner with my besties at Hapag. It was November when we visited and their menu was Western Visayas. Loved the food. My favorites were the Batchoy, and Cacao ice cream. Least favorite was the sinugbang adobo which was a bit too salty even when eaten with rice. Service was excellent. Ambiance was nice, just the perfect place to have dinner.
I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Filipino restaurant, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere made me feel like I was part of a family gathering. The menu is filled with all the classic Filipino dishes, and I couldn't wait to dive in.
Had lunch here for our Wedding Anniversary on NYE. It’s an eclectic bunch of old Spanish style buildings on Del Pilar St with heaps of character. (Reminded me of cosy, quaint old restaurants on Mount Dandenong, Victoria.) We were lucky enough to score one of the 4 parking spots at the front door. No need to dress down here, the aircon is very effective! The Lechon Kawali was wickedly tasty. The Beef Kaldereta was masarap sobra too. With sides of Kilawing Puso ng saging (veggies) and Longganisa Rice, 3 of us (our driver included) were completely full! And most importantly they have COLD SanMig! 😊 Very clean toilets by Philippine standards, and a smoking area in the courtyard. We will definitely be returning to try more of the menu. Pata next time!
