Located on the second floor of a bustling building in Manila, Milky Way Cafe exudes a delightful vintage charm reminiscent of classic ice cream parlors. This Filipino eatery is a haven for dessert lovers, especially those craving the beloved Halo-Halo, which many reviewers tout as one of the best in the city. With a cozy ambiance featuring two clean and comfortable dining areas, it’s an inviting spot for families and friends alike. The menu offers a full range of Filipino dishes alongside a variety of ice cream desserts, including their signature Milky Way Halo-Halo and Ginumis. Not only is the service generally professional, but the café also provides packaged goods for guests to take home, enhancing its appeal as a go-to destination for both locals and tourists seeking authentic Filipino flavors.

Definitely a great place to have Halo-Halo and other ice cream desserts, in addition to a full menu of Filipino dishes. The restaurant is located in the second floor of a building housing several restaurants. There are two dining areas that are clean and comfortable. Service was professional; however our server took a long time before he came to take the order. Our order was delivered quickly and the quality excellent. We had the Milky Way Halo Halo, The Ginumis Halo Halo and ice cream. Everyone was happy with their order. In addition, the restaurant sells packaged and jarred items to bring home or give as gifts.
We had merienda here. Coffee and Chamomile Tea. Then decided to get pancit luglug aka palabok and it was really good. Same goes to the dinuguan with puto. Very OG cooking. Like how my Grandmother does it. Then for dessert their other version of panutsa halo-halo. It has all the texture and yummy goodness. Great traditional food overall.
For me this place is over rated. The food is good but too pricey. 700 pesos for a small bowl of lechon paksiw, its too much, not worth of my money. Even the halo halo, its good buy not for the price of almost 300 pesos. All in all, I will not try it again unless a friend would treat me. My consolation is a meet up with my college friends happened in this place. The impact of being too pricey was lessened.
This was in their Arnaiz (formerly Pasay Road) branch. Food was ok, servings too small for the price we paid for. Their guinumis and halo halo is our favorite. Writing my review here because this main branch is not listed in Tripadvisor.
