Worldwide’s top 50 restaurants. The service was great from the beginning and the staff were kind enough to explain dishes we didn’t understand. The food was good, not extraordinary though but still very good especially the lemon meringue. I loved it. Food presentation was beautiful.
Beautiful space. It was an interesting meal because I got to try many new ingredients that I’ve never had before. However, I didn’t enjoy all of it. I suspect because the flavours / ingredients are too foreign for my palate. Food presentation was incredible and very innovative.
Innovative food! Expensive but well worth the price. “Starters” are more interesting than entrees. Next time we will order lots of starters only.
During our recent visit to Peru, my family and I had the pleasure of celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary at Mayta, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Helena and Dafne took exceptional care of us, explaining every dish and ingredient with warmth and expertise, making the day even more special. The food was beyond extraordinary. We started with the Ceviche Amazónico and the Pulpo Tostado, both exquisitely presented and absolutely delicious. For our entrees, the Bandeja de Pato and the Cochinillo were perfection—rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were equally spectacular, a perfect complement to the dishes. Mayta is truly a gem, offering an extraordinary culinary experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Peru. We’ll undoubtedly return on our next trip!
