Tambomachay, often called the 'Bath of the Inca,' is a small but remarkable Inca ruin dedicated to water worship. Its intricate system of aqueducts, channels, and cascading waterfalls flows through finely carved stone terraces, even today. The site likely served as a royal spa or ceremonial bath for the Inca elite. Visitors can see water emerging from rock spouts and flowing into basins, a testament to Inca hydraulic engineering. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a tranquil atmosphere just a short drive from Cusco.
