Arrow Rock is a distinctive natural landmark located along the Boulder Bank, a unique 13-kilometer shingle spit that shelters Nelson Haven. Visitors can walk or bike along the bank to reach the rock, which rises prominently from the shoreline. The site offers sweeping views across Tasman Bay to the mountains of Abel Tasman National Park. It's a popular spot for photography, picnicking, and exploring the rugged coastal environment. The Boulder Bank itself is a geological curiosity, composed of granite boulders transported by longshore drift.
