The Westerkerk is a landmark Protestant church in Amsterdam's Jordaan district, completed in 1631. Its 85-meter tower, the Westertoren, is the tallest church tower in the city and offers sweeping views over Amsterdam's canals and rooftops. The church interior is notable for its bright, whitewashed walls and large stained-glass windows, creating a serene atmosphere. Visitors can climb the tower for a panoramic vista that includes the Anne Frank House, the Royal Palace, and the harbor. The church also houses the tomb of Rembrandt, who is buried here in an unmarked grave.
