De Sweachmermolen is a classic Frisian polder mill located in the countryside near Langweer, just south of Sneek. This octagonal smock mill stands tall over the flat landscape, its blades a familiar sight for locals. The mill was built to drain the Sweachmer polder, and it still houses its original machinery. Visitors can approach the mill along a dirt path and see the waterwheel in action when the mill is operating. The area is ideal for walking or cycling, with views of the nearby Langweerderwielen lake.
