Velorama is one of the few dedicated bicycle museums in the Netherlands, housed in a charming 19th-century warehouse along the Waal River. The collection spans over 200 years of cycling history, featuring more than 300 bicycles and thousands of accessories, posters, and medals. Visitors can see early 'boneshakers', high-wheel penny-farthings, vintage Dutch roadsters, and racing bikes used by champions. The museum also displays cycling costumes, lamps, bells, and even a bicycle-powered washing machine. Interactive exhibits let you try a penny-farthing simulator. The museum shop sells cycling-themed souvenirs and books. A small café offers refreshments with views of the river.
