Tholen

Tholen is a picturesque fortified town on the island of the same name, just a short drive or bike ride from Bergen op Zoom. Its well-preserved historic center features cobblestone streets, a quaint harbor lined with old houses, and impressive city gates such as the Veerse Poort and the Steenen Brug. The 15th-century town hall, with its striking stepped gable, dominates the market square and now houses a museum.
